For over fifteen years I've been fairly obsessed with finding out what goes on around our amazing planet and experiencing as much of it as I possibly can, but the hard truth is to do this I have always needed money to finance such a lifestyle. This has always been the crux - how do I earn money when I'm always moving from place to place, who would employ such a person? The answer I eventually came up with was - I'll employ myself!
Let me introduce myself my name is Andy Eldon and I live for Travelling, Trekking, Wild Camping, Climbing, being in the mountains and in the ocean. I love Taking photos and seeing what this planet has to offer, it makes me feel alive.

This is what earth connect is about and why I have have decided to create this website. It's to share my ideas with regards to maintaining such a life and to hopefully motivate those of you out there who also have a passion to be free.
The first thing I learnt was travelling and experiencing the great things on offer around planet earth, for most of us is expensive, no matter how much you try to scrimp and scrape. This eventually means your hard earned savings have run out and you need to start thinking on your feet and come up with some ideas or go home and take another lame job and start saving again.
There is always the option of Working in other countries which can be a lot of fun, but generally your paid a lot less than you would be back home and in my experience all your really doing is financing your stay there and not making much if anything to move on with which I found didn't really solve my problem.
For some time now I've been researching ways of making money online as a way of funding my nomadic lifestyle but figuring this out was alot harder than I first thought and also cost a lot more money too.
But I persevered; what could be more perfect - head down to a cafe when you wake up, connect your lap top to their Wi-Fi, order breakfast and settle down to 2-3 hours work and then your done for the day. Your free to do what ever you want, No boss, no overheads, no employees, no premises, no stock and best of all you can do this from anywhere in the world.
What I want to share with you are my findings on what I believe are the best opportunities available to those people who are stubborn enough not to give up their lifestyle of travelling and head home to get another dead end job to finance another trip and are willing to put in a little time and effort for a chance at living their dream.
